From the CEO
When I was 14 years old, I wrote my first grant aided by an elder in my community. The grant was to start a violence prevention program in my public housing community. This would begin my career working in the community with youth, adults, the non-profit sector, government, philanthropy, corporations, and the entertainment industry.
I believe the writing of that first grant many moons ago informs the approach to the work we do at SCENES- helping organizations and companies enhance and build up their people and culture while strengthening them to have a more social and collective impact on the people and communities they are in and serve.
So, what does that mean? Well, it simply means while we focus and specialize in fundraising & coaching, talent & recruitment, strategic communications & event production- we do it with a “people first” approach. We believe in supporting, accentuating, building, and creating not only strong organizations but also empowering the people charged to do the work. Organizations and companies are nothing without the people behind them feeling supported.

SCENES LLC bridges both the for and non-profit worlds with a geographic footprint in New York City, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Connecticut, and Kansas City.

Our Team
Seitu Jemel Hart
Seitu is the CEO of SCENES LLC a social impact consulting firm focusing on event production, capacity building,and social impact for non profits, corporations, philanthropic institutions & individuals. Seitu produced his first talent show at 13 and wrote his first grant at 14 years old. He holds over 25 years of experience and has produced hundreds of events, raised over 100M dollars and garnered more than 750M media impressions for client events and campaigns.
Prior to SCENES LLC Seitu served as the inaugural Chief Executive Officer of Will & Jada Smith Family Foundation (WJSFF) /Careers in Entertainment (CIE) a premier social impact initiative undergirded and supported by WJSFF’s over 500M philanthropic footprint. In this role he created an ambitious 33M strategic work & investment plan with an outcome of creating more access, opportunity, and inclusion within the global entertainment industry. He is also the former Vice President of Membership & External Affairs for ABFE (the Association of Black Foundation Executives), the nation’s first philanthropic affinity group, where he oversaw a membership network with over $100 billion in assets under management and grew the annual budget by 100% in less than 3 years.
Seitu oversees daily operations, ensuring they align with SCENES LLC’S standards and values, while maintaining its sustainability and finding opportunities for growth.
Logan Myles Stacer
In partnership with the CEO, Logan is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. Logan also helps define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
Paul Mondesire
Paul is a development, communications, and strategic visioning professional who leverages his experience in philanthropy, nonprofit, the media, and community relations to generate positive quantifiable outcomes. Mr. Mondesire’s strong base of knowledge spans nearly two decades in fundraising, communications combined with prior work in television/film development, production, and postproduction (Unitel Video/MTV; Post Perfect; WPIX-TV; Sesame Workshop; Thirteen/WNET).
Pamela Woods
Pamela has worked extensively as an in-house C-Suite fundraising professional and as a consultant nationally preparing fundraising plans and case statements, recruiting and training leadership, researching and soliciting potential donors, and designing pre- and post campaign development programs. In her career, Ms. Wood has been responsible for the attainment of over $234 million in solicited funds. Her clients have included national associations, schools, religious and social service organizations.
